Dancing on ice spectators noted the “favoritism” of the judges on the results of the last ride.

Paralympian Steph Reed and her partner Andy Buchanan were sent home during a drama show on Sunday (March 6th) after finding themselves in the last two places against BMX star Kay White and his professional dancer Tipi Packard.

Kai was rescued by a unanimous vote of judges Ashley Bungee, Oti Mabusu, Jane Torville and Christopher Dean after both couples danced again.

This meant that Steph got boots from the ITV skating competitions.

However, fans were not impressed by the decision of the judges and went to social networks to express their disappointment.

Turning to Twitter, one fan wrote, “Kai and Tipi have been in the top two literally four times, so they obviously still don’t communicate with the public.”

Another added: “What a fix, Kai is the weakest skater to date, the audience has put him in the last two in the last four weeks. Obviously why they are holding him.”

A third person posted, “What a trick. There was no way Steph could be denied. I thought she was weird.”

While a fourth social media user said: No, that’s what to fix? #DancingOn the Ice ».

Earlier in the show, Steph and Andy coped with a stunning routine on the rink and scored 36.5 points out of a possible 40.

While Kai and Tippi managed to win 37 out of 40 in their 1950s, inspired by the snack routine that led to his impeccable headbanger.

The week on the subject of Torville and Dean was incredibly impressive as three stars, Brendan Cole, Kimberly Wyatt and Regan Gascoigne, received top marks in this episode.

All three reached the semifinals next week.

However, on Sunday (March 13) there will be a double elimination, which means that only three pairs will reach the final of Dancing on Ice on March 20.

Host Philip Schofield announced at the end of the last show that the two couples will leave the competition next week.

Announcing the great news to the participants live, the ITV star said: “Our couples don’t know anything.

“So listen, because – and we’ve been silent about it all day – I can announce that next week there will also be a double flight.

“Not one, but two couples will leave us.”

Responding to sighs and groans, Philip jokingly said, “And they all said,‘ My God! ’After the night you gave us today!

“We really think it was one of the best shows, if not on the best we’ve ever had! “
