TVs and lights turn on by themselves as well as bangs and a ghostly seeing, forced the staff of the Sheffield bar to call a group to investigate paranormal phenomena.
Following the recent escalation of horrific experiences, staff at the Meltdown bar in Sheffield summoned experts who conducted a lengthy inspection of the site, possibly haunted.
Adam Varley, an employee of the gaming bar, said: “I was at the end of the bar when I felt like someone was coming to talk to me.
“So when I looked up and saw someone following me, but there was no one there.
“It really made me shiver. It’s not so easy to scare me, but when it happened, I shuddered a little. “
The Meltdown bar was originally called Black Swan from World War II until the 1960s, when it evolved into Boardwalk, which became a popular music venue in Sheffield.
WAH Paranormal, which conducted the investigation, suggested that the bar’s extensive history may be the cause of paranormal activity.
WAH (meaning Wendy, Andy and Haley) is a paranormal group from Sheffield, created in the fall of 2021. They have conducted numerous investigations around Yorkshire in haunted places, including Roche Abbey in Rotherham and the Kadeby Tunnel in Doncaster.
The hour-long video, posted on the official WAH channel on YouTube, captured some horrific moments as they explored the bar.
Using a “ghost box” that uses radio frequency to allow spirits to make contact, WAH seemed to record a disembodied voice that said “hello,” “who’s there?”, “Oh, wow,” and “sorry for letting you down “.
The worst thing was that a voice was recorded that sounded like, “Help me.”
During the investigation, Hailey said her phone repeatedly stopped recording and also said she felt cold, which is believed to be signs of paranormal activity.
She asked the spirits in the Meltdown basement, “Are any of those killed in the war trapped here?”

This launched the K2 device, which claims to use electromagnetic fields to see if perfume is present.
Seeing the strange “spheres” floating in the bar during the investigation, Wendy said, “Well, it’s either dust or a lot of people here.”
The jury may not be there yet, but the general feeling that something in the bar was certainly wrong – if you want to test the observation yourself, click here.
