59-year-old Richard Glossip married 32-year-old Leo Roger Oklahoma Penitentiary this week.
He had previously barely escaped punishment due to drug protocol problems in Oklahoma.
After two years of communication Ms. Roger and the convict seem to have fallen in love, reports Fox23.
He was found guilty of organizing the 1997 murder of Barry Van Tries, the owner of a motel in Oklahoma City run by Glossip.
He was convicted largely on the testimony of motel service officer Justin AIDS, who confessed to the murder after Glossip hired him for it.
Many have said that there is no physical evidence to support his story, and Glossip has been asserting his innocence since he was charged.
He has twice been offered life imprisonment in exchange for confession, and he has refused both times.
In 2015, his sentence was abruptly postponed just an hour before he was due to die at an Oklahoma State Penitentiary after a series of lethal injections.
Glossip’s marriage to Mrs. Roger is actually his second behind bars.
In 2019, he married then-22-year-old bride Leihai Jurassic, despite the fact that the couple never touched.
They met after Ms. Jurasik, who was studying to be a gravedigger, read about Glossip’s case and sent a letter to his cell.
She told Sky News at the time: “If you love someone, you love someone, such trifles do not bother you. He is innocent, he should not be around, but this has never been a deterrent in our relationship. “
