MADRID (Reuters) – The world’s largest maker of swimming pool equipment, Spain’s Fluidra, reported on Thursday its first-quarter net profit rose 12% to 75 million euros ($79.59 million) and maintained its guidance for 2022.

Revenues grew 31% in the first quarter of 2022 from the same period last year to 667 million euros, as the Barcelona-based company still benefited from a pandemic induced demand.

The net profit during the quarter was negatively affected by a financial restructuring in January, the company said.
