Rangers ticket allocation for Europa League final set to be cut by UEFA

TICKETS for the Europa League final between Rangers and Eintracht Frankfurt will be heavily sought after in the coming weeks.

The final, to be played at Sevilla’s Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, will go ahead on Wednesday 18 May.

The Ibrox club were due to receive 10,000 tickets for the showpiece occasion but Rangers’ supporter liason officer (SLO) has warned fans that the allocation is likely to be reduced.

In a post on social media the SLO explained that due to segregation issues, 9500 tickets will be available for supporters of the Ibrox club.

“Europa League Final ticketing information is due to be released within the hour,” Rangers’ SLO wrote.

“Fans will have to act quickly due to the short turnaround time.

“Please note, due to segregation our allocation has been cut by 500 to 9,500 tickets.”
