a 50-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital with “serious leg injuries” after a truck collision in Oldgate.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) said on Tuesday at 9.16 at 9.16 received a report of a collision on Lehmann Street.
Doctors helped two people, including a cyclist, who had to be taken to a major trauma center in East London “as a priority” due to injuries.
Another person was treated at the scene, which does not require assistance.
A LAS spokesman said: “We have sent two ambulance crews and an incident response officer to the scene. We also sent a London air ambulance.
“The first paramedic arrived in less than five minutes.”
“We inflicted serious leg injuries on the patient at the scene and took her to the emergency room as a matter of priority.
“We also checked the other person and discharged him at the scene.”
The Minsk police said they were waiting for reports about the woman’s condition.
The driver of the truck stopped at the scene, there were no detentions.
“Blocked roads and cordons remain in place,” police said.
Whitechapel High Street was closed on both sides after the collision, which disrupted traffic in the area.
According to BBC Radio London Travel, the traffic is east of Oldgate High Street.
They added: “Very slowly on Mansel Street through the one-way traffic system, and on Commercial Street the police are controlling traffic.”
