The Department of Health today released a report on antibody data from the COVID-19 Infection Survey (CIS).

The findings set out in this report relate to estimates for Northern Ireland for the week beginning 2 May 2022.

The main conclusions

In this bulletin, we report the percentage of the population that is estimated to have antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, a specific virus that causes coronavirus (COVID-19), at an antibody level of 179 nanograms per milliliter (ng / mL) or higher for him. ).

  • In Northern Ireland in the week beginning 2 May 2022, it is estimated that 98.9% of the adult population (95% confidence interval: 97.9% to 99.4%) gave a positive blood test for antibodies against SARS-CoV- 2 at or above 179 ng / mL.

In Northern Ireland for the week beginning 2 May 2022, the percentage of adults who tested positive for antibodies at 179 ng / mL or higher remained high in all age groups.
