Although women are capable of the many and varied roles in construction, currently only 12.5% of the sector’s employees are female.

About This Session

Midland Metro Alliance (MMA) is a team of planning, design and construction specialists building a number of new tram extensions across the West Midlands and is delighted to host this session. We will have female colleagues at different stages of their careers, presenting their journeys to inform and inspire young people to consider rail as a fantastic opportunity to develop long term careers.

Our presenters will include

Rose Rees – Head of Engagement & Skills, who will give you an introduction to Midland Metro Alliance and an overview on apprenticeships, how to apply, top tips and assessment processes.
Grace Hayward – Assistant Project Manager
Natasha Hebblethwaite-Sharpe – PA to West Midlands Metro Director
