Speaking to Giovanna Fletcher on Disney’s new Journey to the Magic podcast, the 36 year old star said: “It was kind of like [Spencer] did his best proposal for himself”.
Former Made in Chelsea star Spencer, 33, proposed to his wife at a West End performance of Disney’s The Lion King in 2018, but Vogue confessed she would have preferred he got down on one knee at a different show.
“It’s Spencer’s all-time favourite Disney film and it is the only thing he’s ever cried at, and he loves it,” Vogue told Giovanna.

“So, it was kind of like he did his best proposal for himself. He could have taken me to Beauty and the Beast!”
The former Dancing with the Stars contestant also shared her relief at her husband being denied a public proposal on stage, calling that her “worst nightmare”.
Vogue explained: “He asked them: ‘Can I go on stage and propose to her at the end?’ And they were like: ‘Well, no, it’s a West End show and other people are watching it’.”
It seems everything worked out for the best, as Vogue said she was happy with the final proposal.
“In the end it happened backstage,” she explained. “We met the cast and stuff, it was really nice because it’s a really cool stage and you’ve got all the pride rock background and all that kind of stuff which was really cool.”
Vogue said her husband, who she married the same year they got engaged, has no regrets about the way he proposed and that “he had a great time”.

Vogue also shared her wish to spend more time alone with her husband, revealing the couple have only had two nights away from their kids since becoming parents in 2018.
“We have made a promise to ourselves,” she explained. “Because we’ve never gone away from our kids for more than two nights, and that would be our max, our new thing that we’re meant to be starting this year, is we’re going to try and get away for five days somewhere we’ve never been.”
Vogue said Japan or India are at the top of her list, and that she’d like to make an annual five-night trip with just her husband a tradition.
The couple welcomed their third child together in April, a son named Otto James Matthews.
They are also parents to son Theodore, three, and daughter Gigi, one.
The former DJ recently shared the sweetest snap of her newest addition after confessing he has “slotted in straight away”.
Posting a picture of the tot, whose middle name is after Spencer’s brother James, Vogue wrote: “Three weeks with Otto,” alongside a red love heart emoji.
