Love Island’s Paige Turley shares snap from hospital bed after ‘minor’ surgery

Love Island star Paige Turley has shared an update with concerned fans after she was taken to hospital to undergo minor surgery.

The 24 year old star took to her Instagram stories on Saturday to share a photo of herself wearing hospital gown as she lay in bed with a cannula visible in her arm.

Alongside the picture, which Paige had posted using the baby Yoda Star Wars filter, Paige revealed to her 1.7million followers that she had been quiet in recent days due to requiring a medical procedure.

She wrote: “Had a few messages asking if everything is ok as we have been a little quiet on socials this week.. just a little update, I had to go in for v minor surgery so I’m currently on bed rest whilst Finn plays nurse bless him.”

Although no details were given about what procedure she had undergone, Paige was quick to reassure fans that everything was okay and that she was recovering safely back at home – even sharing one of her miracle cures from childhood whenever she was sick.

Posting a picture of a Lucozade bottle, the star admitted: “When I was younger this was a saving grace for when I was ill. No matter what was wrong, could have been a sickness bug, ear infection, broken bone, anything and my mum swore by it.”

Safely discharged home, Paige has now been left in the care of her boyfriend, 22 year old Finley Tapp.

The couple have been together since January 2020, when they met on and ultimately won the sixth series of ITV2’s Love Island.

Both Finley and Paige had been voted the winners by the UK public after they won the hearts of audiences with their sweet romance. The loved-up couple recently celebrated two years.
