The pedestrian was taken to hospital after an accident on Prior Lane in Wandsworth

The pedestrian was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition after the accident at Wandsworth.

Today at 8.15 (May 22) officers were called in an accident on Prior Lane, at the junction with Clarence Road.

The accident happened: a cyclist and a pedestrian.

A pedestrian man, a 30-year-old man, was taken to hospital.

His condition is currently considered life-threatening.

The cyclist stopped at the scene and is assisting law enforcement.

There have been no detentions so far.

London ambulances and the London Aircraft arrived at the scene.

Roadblocks have been removed and police are continuing their investigation.

A Wandsworth police spokesman said: “At 8:15 a.m. Sunday, May 22, police received a report of a collision between a cyclist and a pedestrian on Prior Lane, the intersection with Clarence Road SW15.

“Officers were present with the LAS and the London Air Ambulance.

“A pedestrian man, a 30-year-old man, was taken to hospital.

“His condition is currently considered life-threatening.

“The cyclist stopped and is with the staff.

“There were no detentions.

“The roadblocks have been removed.

“Requests continue.”
