After a successful first edition last autumn, Body Movements, the multi-venue festival dedicated to queer club culture, is returning to Hackney Wick this July. Founded by producer and DJ Saoirse and Little Gay Brother’s Clayton Wright, the fest will be spread across a range of spaces over one day and will feature over a whole host LGBTQI+ collectives from around the UK and beyond.
The stage hosts include Adonis, Little Gay Brother, Inferno, Queer House Party, Hungama, Maricas, Lezzer Quest, Big Dyke Energy, Pxssy Palace, and more, with the likes of Sherelle, Lakuti, Or:la, Saoirse, Midland, A.G, Dee Diggs, Shy One, Peach, Julianna Huxtable, Angel D’Lite, Sippin T, and Princess Julia on the line-up. Not only is the main fest absolutely stacked, there are five afterparties happening too so you can keep going well into the night.
