Thousands of customers have been unable to carry out any online banking today as multiple banks are affected by a mass IT problem

Customers of 10 banks including Barclays, Halifax, Lloyds, Nationwide and Monzo have been locked out of their bank accounts this morning.
Thousands of customers have reported issues at multiple banks on outages website DownDetector.
The banks affected are Barclays, Bank of Scotland, Halifax, Lloyds, HSBC, Santander, Nationwide, NatWest, Monzo and Yorkshire Bank.
Bank customers report problems with transferring funds, online banking and mobile banking apps.
Bank users started logging issues at around 6am today.
