Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard posed together for a big smiley face after confirming them Manchester United outputs.
The Red Devils duo smiled when Pogba shared their selfie in the car on their Instagram page. World Cup winner Pogba signed the photo: “My Brother”, as well as emojis with hearts, handshakes and prayers.
Their joyous mood came despite both saying goodbye to United after long transitions with Old Trafford this week. United confirmed the withdrawal of both players on Wednesday with two statements, with the Frenchman offering a particularly honest result of his second stay at the club.
It read: “Pogba’s last season at the club began in a very promising way, with an amazing four assists in the defeat of Leeds United on the first day, but more injury problems would ultimately beat his ambitions.
It was a restrained end to United’s career, which brought so many individual highs, so many beautiful goals, assists and skill, but for the boy who joined the Academy at 16, he played more than 200 games for United. and raised the success of the Youth Cup along with the two main silverware – not to mention the World Cup internationally – is something to be applauded and celebrated. “

Pogba’s second time with United was best characterized by fleeting moments of brilliance that were ultimately too inconsistent to leave a mark. The club signed Pogba with Juventus for 89 million pounds in 2016, despite initially allowing him to leave for free, but it will be a huge disappointment given that he will leave, winning only the Europa League and the Cup of Carabao .
And the 29-year-old didn’t look too anxious to care for. He simply wrote on Twitter: “I am honored to play for this club. Many beautiful moments and memories, but most importantly – the unconditional support of the fans. Thank you Manchester United.”

Lingard’s farewell was a much more emotional message because the player spent 22 years at the club. He looked back fondly on the time spent at United, despite the unbearable season.
He wrote on Instagram: “Over the last few weeks, I have emotionally left the club, which is a family one. After 22 years, I have so many special memories and moments that I will cherish forever.

“I’m red through, and Manchester United will forever remain in my heart. Thanks to the players I’ve played with over the years, in which I’ve been friends for life and we had a great time.
“I want to say a big thank you to the coaches under whose leadership I have worked from 9 years to now. Every coach has helped me in a different way and I appreciate the way every coach has believed in me and taught me something different.
“A huge thank you to all the staff behind the scenes, from the ladies to dinner, the cleaners and the kitmen, because everyone played a part in where I am today. It was emotional, but end up in a buzz that was your favorite holiday? Lots of love jlingz” .
