Four novice actors were given the opportunity to perform before professional theater directors as part of a major training program.
Northwood Women’s College students participated in auditions with about 7,000 young people to participate in the National Youth Theater program.
Pupils Omar, Anabel, Muncie and Rihanna from 10th to 13th grades were among the 600-700 offered seats at the theater’s summer workshops.
By the end of the course they will have the opportunity each year to audition for London productions under the age of 26.
Principal Rebecca Brown said: “I know that all four students will develop as members of the NYT, and I look forward to hearing about their experience in September.”
