My world champion Peter Wright finally settled on the couple darts? He seems to think so on the eve of the US Masters in New York this weekend and has even said he is ready to dominate World Matchplay later this summer.
Snakebite is known as the best master of sports because of his habit of constantly changing equipment, often in the middle of matches. It’s a habit that doesn’t seem to have brought him any help since he won his second world title in January.
Wright suffered a series of early withdrawals from the tournaments and did not get a place in the Premier League playoffs after losing to Joe Cullen in the last week of the regular season. But the 52-year-old believes he has finally found a set of darts that work for him after working closely with manufacturer Red Dragon.
“It’s really special, my whole design,” Wright said Online darts television his new darts. “It feels like it’s a glove, they feel weird. I will not change this dart for at least another six months.
“I need to find the right length of glasses or, if I need long stems, things like that. But the setup with the standard point seems to be going very well. They feel amazing.
“As I say, it’s like a glove, it’s the best dart I’ve ever felt. Be careful! Because like I won the playoff game last year, I could have won easier with these, they’re so good. ”

Wright won last year’s World Matchplay, defeating Dimitri van den Berg in the final 18-9 after a devastating points show. He became only the fifth player in history to win both the playoffs and the World Cup.
But before that, Snakebite is focused on the US Masters, which will be held in the iconic New York Madison Square Garden. On Friday in the first round Wright will meet with number one American Danny Bagish.
