Love Island 2021 star Abigail Rawlings has detailed her gorgeous home tattoo studio in an exclusive video for OK! Online.

Abigail, 27, has dozens of tattoos herself, so it was only fitting that she revealed on the ITV2 show last year that she works as a tattoo artist.

After moving into her stunning new home with boyfriend David Aboro Fitzpatrick, Abigail decided to use one of the rooms to work from.

Discussing her new business venture, she told us: “I used to work in a shared studio and when I moved house, I decided that I wanted a private studio as well where I can offer a more private space.

“I predominantly tattoo females in quite intimate places and, as much as people are body confident, it never really sat right with me because I’ve always wanted to know that they were 100% comfortable and they weren’t just dealing with the surroundings for a sake of a tattoo.”

The 27 year old went on: “I was like, I need to have this area where, if they don’t feel comfortable, they have the option to say ‘Oh, can I go to the private studio?’”

“It’s just for the sake of making people feel comfortable. I don’t want them feeling uneasy just because they want my art,” Abigail added.

Her studio is made up of a large black tattoo chair placed in the centre of the room with a ring light next to it, a large free-standing mirror for her clients to admire their new ink in, and a desk for Abigail to draw her gorgeous designs.

The room also boasts a large Mac computer, and other furnishings so that people feel comfortable and at home.

Abigail has tattooed a handful of well-known faces over her career, including Toy Boy’s Ashley Walters and Calum Best.

While Abigail had her first ever tattoo at the age of 18 and has kept adding to her body art ever since, the former Love Islander said she doesn’t regret any of her inkings.

“I don’t think there’s any I regret, but there are ones that I wouldn’t have chosen to get now,” she told us.

“With me being a tattooist, every tattoo I got was part of my journey so I feel like it resonates more with me, even if it’s not my favourite.”

Recalling her first tattoo, Abigail continued: “The first one I got was at 18 of a dream catcher on my back. It’s bloody massive – I was very ballsy for an 18 year old.”

She went on: “I’m just not a dream catcher girl anymore, it’s not a bit of me but, instead of having it lasered, I just started getting more and more bits around it so it’s not so much a centrepiece on my back.”

Abigail concluded that she’d have been “really sad” if she’d ever gotten rid of it.
