There is major disruption to several rail services in south Wales after a person was hit by a train between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway stations.
Rail services have been disrupted by the incident, which Network Rail said took place at around 5.24pm on Saturday June 4. Both Great Western Railway and National Rail say all services travelling through these lines have been blocked.
Emergency services including South Wales Police, British Transport Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service have been approached for an update on the incident. The condition of the person hit by the train and any details about them are not yet known.

Disruption is expected to last until at least 8:15pm. The main routes affected are the Great Western Railway services between Carmarthen, Swansea and London Paddington, and Transport for Wales services between Swansea, Milford Haven and Cardiff Central and also between Pembroke Dock and Manchester Piccadilly, and Port Talbot Parkway.
