The incident took place on Beckenham High Street yesterday (June 4) shortly after 12.50.
The pedestrian, who was an elderly man, was taken to hospital.
His condition is assessed as life-threatening.
There were no detentions after the incident.
A Met Police spokesman said: “Police were called by the LAS at 12.52pm on Saturday, June 4 on High Street, Beckenham, for a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
“A pedestrian, an elderly man, was taken to hospital – his condition is not life-threatening and does not change.
“No arrests.”
