Danniella Westbrook posts photo with rarely-seen son Kai as she admits she would “move heaven and earth” to be with him

DANNIELLA Westbrook has posted a photo alongside her rarely-seen son Kai as she admitted she misses spending time with him.

The former EastEnders actress said she would “move the heaven and earth” to be with him as she took to Instagram on Saturday evening.

Danniella, 48, took to her stories with the throwback snap of her and Kai, 25, as they visited the Loose Women studios together.

The proud mum wrote over the snap of the pair hugging: “Thinking of you today son. Would move heaven and earth to be with you.”

She added a sad face and heart emoji in the text over the photograph, which had been edited to be black and white.

It came after Kai, who goes by the nickname KJ, released his first EP Charga as he kickstarted his rapping career.

It comes shortly after Danniella opened up about how her son Kai refused to speak to her for seven months after she relapsed.

The star also showed off a photo of her rarely-seen oldest child after he switched up his look with bleach blonde hair.

Mum Danniella captioned the snap:  “This time last year. It’s gone so fast, crazy to think of all the things this kid fitted into one year.”

The former EastEnders actress is now very close to her son and daughter Jodie despite their difficulties.

Danniella’s well-publicised addiction troubles caused problems in the family home growing up, and her relationships with the kids’ respective dads, Robert Fernandez and Kevin Jenkins, didn’t last.

Danniella accused Kevin of constantly cheating on her during their 19 years together, while he blamed her drug use for the split.

Five years after they went their separate ways in 2014, Danniella begged Kevin for a divorce on his birthday.

Kai told us in 2016 that he would often fear finding his mum dead and as a four-year-old witnessed her overdosing on cocaine.

He has however said he forgives her for taking cocaine when she was pregnant with him.

She even revealed she did a line of Class A drugs while in labour. 

In an interview with The Daily Star On Sunday, Kai explained: “It’s shocking. It hasn’t affected me. It’s a miracle. I like to forgive.”

He added: “I worry about her health a lot, it’s frightening because I don’t have anyone else in this world.”
