    EASTENDERS’ Martin Fowler will be making fewer appearances in the coming weeks as actor James Bye takes to the dance floor.

    James Bye38, played a role Martin Fowler on EastEnders It’s been eight years now, but he’ll swap Walford Market for the stage when he joins the Strictly come to the dance to cast

    Fans will be delighted to know that James is not leaving EastEnders for Strictly, but he will have to split his time between the two roles, appearing less in EastEnders so he can practice his moves.

    He told Inside Soap: “It’s a huge commitment, luckily both shows are being filmed in Elstreeand my bosses at EastEnders have been very supportive of keeping my storylines quiet to make sure I have the chance to do my best on Strictly.’

    James is married with three children, and reportedly met his wife Victoria in a Sainsbury’s car park and married shortly afterwards in 2012.
