Worcester Warriors’ season-ticket holders can watch London Irish for discounted price

LONDON Irish have offered Worcester Warriors’ season ticket holders the chance to “get their rugby fix” as a show of support following the club being suspended from all rugby competition by the RFU on Monday.

Irish released a statement on Wednesday morning confirming that any season ticket holder at Worcester will get 50% off ticket prices to watch Irish matches going forward.

Warriors supporters will not be able to watch their team until the suspension is lifted, which will only happen when the club’s financial crisis has been resolved.

Only 90 minutes after being suspended was it confirmed by the DCMS that Warriors had also been placed into administration at the director’s request.

But for now, Irish have offered Worcester fans the chance to enjoy some live rugby.

“The thoughts of all those at London Irish are with the players, staff and supporters of Worcester Warriors,” the statement read.

“After hosting the Club recently at the Gtech Community Stadium, we were blown away by the professionalism and togetherness they all demonstrated both on that day and during the very difficult and uncertain weeks before and afterwards.

“Every individual at Worcester Warriors deserves better, and we truly hope to see them return to the Gallagher Premiership soon.

“To Season Ticket holders of Worcester Warriors – we know what rugby means to you. While nothing can replace your Club, if you do ever want to get your live rugby fix, tickets at the Gtech Community Stadium will be discounted by 50% for you, and you will be welcomed with open arms – email ticketing@london-irish.com for more information.”
