Omaze prize draw offers Victorian townhouse in north London for £3m
stunning midnight London townhouse is being offered as a prize in a charity house raffle run by Omaze.
The British Heart Foundation united with Amaze to give one person the chance to win a £3million townhouse Islington and £100,000 in prize money, with part of the proceeds going towards vital research.
The property comes mortgage free with all stamp duty and legal costs and is close to finsbury park station.
If the winner decides to rent out the property, agents estimate it could be worth £6,000-£7,000 a month.
Dr Charmaine Griffiths, Chief Executive of the BHF, said: “We are delighted to be joining forces with Omaze again.
“Despite phenomenal progress in research over the past 60 years, heart and circulatory disease, including heart attack and stroke, kills one in four people in the UK and is the world’s biggest killer.”
The three-story townhouse includes four bedrooms in 3,400 square feet. The master bedroom occupies a large part of the first floor and includes an en-suite bathroom, marble shower and wardrobe.
There is a further en-suite bedroom on the first floor and two further double bedrooms upstairs, both with plenty of built-in storage and a shared luxury family bathroom.
In the landscaped rear garden is a garden studio with fully fitted kitchen and bathroom.
The prize draw is supported by former Tottenham Hotspur forward David Ginola, who suffered a cardiac arrest in 2016.
“Having experienced the devastating effects of heart disease myself, the money raised through Omaze’s innovative approach to fundraising will help the BHF continue its truly life-saving research,” he said.
“Everyone who takes part in the prize draw is doing their bit for this most important cause – and of course someone is guaranteed to win a dream home in North London too – even if it’s too close to Arsenal for my liking!”
The property draw is open and will close on February 26 for online entries and February 28 for postal entries.
Online bids range from £10 to £150 and 80 per cent of the proceeds will go to the British Heart Foundation. Omaze also guarantees a minimum total payout of £100,000.
