A knife-obsessed asylum seeker who stabbed a Royal Marine hopeful to death after killing two others earlier has been jailed for life.

Shocking, but there was a citizen of Afghanistan convicted of murder in Serbia in 2018 after two people were shot dead outside the refugee zone.
The killer was sentenced to 20 years in absentia after entering the UK in 2019.
After being found guilty of murdering Tom Abdulrahimzai, he was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 29 years.
His father Philip Roberts said ahead of the sentencing: “I miss him so much in so many ways – his difficulty getting up for work at 5.30am, I miss his help fixing things at home, I miss all his friends coming to the house. , I miss his cute girl who comes to him.
“Tommy is my only son, I always wanted a son, but he was taken from me, leaving a terrible void. I miss him every day, every hour, every minute.
“Now I’m asking for justice.”
An asylum seeker came to Britain claiming to be a 14-year-old whose parents were killed by the Taliban in Afghanistan.
His lies were so convincing that he was placed in foster care, where he almost head-butted his guardian.
Salisbury Crown Court heard Abdulrahimzai was caught by police with a knife but only given a caution.
Since then, the police have appeared warned seven times he had the weapon that led to Tom’s murder.
Two days before the massacre, members of the cricket club gave a warning Dorset Police he carried a machete.
Police received additional warnings from his foster mother, who told officers six times that she suspected he had a knife.
On March 12 last year, Abdulrahimzai got into an argument with Tom’s friend James Medway over an e-scooter at a Subway sandwich shop.
When Tom, who relies on the Royal Marines, intervened, he was stabbed in the heart and stomach by the “very aggressive” defendant.
Chilling CCTV footage showed Mr Medway chasing Abdulrahimzai around town and into a park.
Horrified witnesses saw the killer running “very fast” through the darkness in the busy city centre.
Unfortunately, the time between the start of the argument and Tom’s knife was only 24 seconds.
Jurors were told Abdulrahimzai “revels in violence” and has a “passion for knives”.
He posed with 10-inch blades on TikTok to gain followers from “people who love knives.”
He was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder after he said he thought Tom was a Taliban agent sent to kill him.
Abdulrahimzai claimed he was 16 when he was arrested on suspicion of Tom’s murder.
But after examining his teeth, it was established that he is actually 21 years old.
The asylum seeker first traveled to Serbia via Pakistan and Iran in October 2015 before arriving in Norway later that month.
Abdulrahimzai then left Norway and spent some time in Italy and Serbia.
While in Serbia, he went into a shed near a gas station where two Afghans were sleeping after an argument.
Abdulrahimzai fired 18 shots from the machine gun – killing both men.
He claimed his parents were killed when the Taliban planted bombs in his family home because they suspected them of conspiring with US forces.
Abdulrahimzai also said he was captured and tortured by the Taliban for three weeks before being left for dead on the side of the road.
The Internal office will now investigate “red flags that were missed” that led to the murder.
Ministers also promised to introduce X-ray checks for the installation true age of migrants.
