RHS Wisley Glow Event 2023 by Laura Clark Notre Dame

As they strolled through the large gardens, music carried by the wind drifted around, while different colored projections swirled beautifully around the couple. The sweet aroma wafted in the air from the warm and inviting little stalls begging you to taste the delicious food.

In the direction of the great glass house, an amazing fire show glitters, illuminating red and orange sprays that make their way across the inky sky, creating deep red gashes in the night. The heat of the fire touches your face before it is quenched by the stillness of the splashing water at a great height, rising above the last flames, licking the blackness of the sky.

The fire show fell in time with the music and it created a truly incredible effect, it was a mesmerizing series for the entire audience to witness. As you walk under the trees, lights glinting through the last remaining leaves, you find yourself in front of the entrance to the glass house. Inside the glass house is a large waterfall that peacefully drowns out all other sounds while even brighter colors light up the entire room.

The final stretch of the field walk features an amazing light show that moves in sync, making you stand in awe as you watch the changing colors of the lights spread across the grass.

It was a wonderful winter extravaganza of Wisley lights.
