Police have released pictures after a man was stabbed in Newham on Valentine’s Day

Emergency services arrived on Green Street just after 5:10 a.m. on February 14.

Police attended along with the London Ambulance Service and found the victim, a 36-year-old man, with a stab wound to the chest.

He was taken to the hospital, his condition is assessed as life-threatening.

There were no arrests, investigations are ongoing.

Detectives investigating the case believe the stabbing happened in Queens Market at around 5.10am.

D.C. Coroner Jamie Thorne said, “If anyone recognizes the man in this image, please call us immediately.

“We know there were other people in and around the Queens Market area but no one was present when the police arrived or came forward.

“I would like to ask them or anyone with information about this incident to get in touch.”
