Kew Gardens: TfL customers can save money on tickets this spring

travelers can save money on their trip Kew Gardens this spring, thanks to a new offering from Transportation for London (TfL).

The discount is part of a wider scheme to celebrate the Tube and the role it plays in London life.

It is also part of the Tube’s 160th anniversary celebrations, an anniversary shared by Temperate House in Kew.

Deputy Mayor for Transport Seb Dance said: “TfL and Kew Gardens are key parts of London’s cultural identity. It is wonderful to be able to celebrate this joint 160th anniversary of the Tube and Temperate House at Kew.

“As spring approaches, I urge Londoners to take advantage of these discounts tickets and plan a day at Kew Gardens on London’s public transport network.’

TfL Customer Director Julie Dixon said: “Kew Gardens is a popular year-round destination for Londoners and visitors alike, and we’re delighted to be teaming up with them to bring greater savings to our customers as the spring colors begin to bloom.

“The fact that the London Underground and Temperate House at Kew Gardens are celebrating their 160th anniversary this year makes the partnership even more special.

“We hope our customers will enjoy exploring Kew Gardens using our transport network which allows people to enjoy the best of London’s attractions for less as we head into spring and summer.”

How to save money on Kew Gardens tickets

From March 3 to June 30, TfL customers can get 30 per cent off discount on standard adult and peak season concession tickets at Kew Gardens.

Visitors to Kew Gardens can save up to £7.20 on a standard adult ticket or up to £6.45 on concession tickets.

To receive the offer, TfL customers must present proof of travel via TfL Oyster and the contactless app at the entrance to Kew Gardens.

Alternatively, visitors can use the code KEWTFL30 when booking tickets online.

Offer valid seven days a week, excl Easter Weekends.

TfL will celebrate London Underground’s role as the lifeblood of London throughout 2023, with a number of events planned around the Underground this year.
