I came face to face with Casper the ghost in my pint – and ordered six more to see if he would materialize again
A DRINKER was startled when Casper the Ghost materialized in his pint.
Paul Bowyer, 53, accidentally created a frothy phantom after mixing two beers.
He poured a Newcastle Brown ale into half a Budweiser and was so impressed that he ordered six more to try and repeat the trick.
Father-of-two Pavel, a glazier, said: “I was amazed. It looked exactly like that Casper.
“I looked at it for a few minutes and then just dropped it.
“I didn’t feel guilty.
“It was a lovely pint.
“I tried to rebuild it, but it just didn’t work out.
“Eventually I gave up because I was running late for takeout.”
Paul was with brother-in-law Martin Ridgway, 54, at the Colley Rowe Inn in Romford, East London.
Casper’s friendly ghost made his cartoon debut in 1945.
He starred in the 1995 film and most recently in Casper’s School of Fear.
