Garden-less Londoners can book a free barbecue on the South Bank this summer

And for Londoners looking to dust them off kebabs pending, but who does not have enough open space to use them, the first in town for free a barbecue place will open South bank Next month.

Sainsbury’s will be provided to guests summer food basket, gas grill and tools, all without a price tag. The menu includes many summer products from Sainsbury’s new seasonal range.
Sainsbury’s has partnered with Weber to provide the barbecue.
The garden will be open from noon to 8pm daily, 90 minutes by reservation.
Basket options will include Taste the Difference’s signature beef rib and brisket burgers, as well as plant-based alternatives such as Taste the Difference’s Middle Eastern-style Koftas, as well as mocktails.
Guests can choose from three mouth-watering packages worth at least £50 vegan and options for meat lovers as well as dietary preferences are catered for.
It is planned to occupy about a third of the garden’s open days Londoners who doesn’t have a place at home to have a barbecue.
With temperatures soaring this season, the garden will give Brits a chance to spend quality time with friends or family, providing a safe and enjoyable way to bring back the great British barbecue.
“Summer is a time to celebrate and get together with friends and family to enjoy delicious food,” said Claire Hughes, director of product and innovation at Sainsbury’s.
“But for those who don’t have access to an outdoor space at home, that doesn’t mean they have to miss out. That’s why we’ve launched Sainsbury’s Book-a-BBQ Garden, keeping food at the heart of it, as we make it our mission to ensure that even those who don’t have their own outdoor space can still enjoy the smoky seasonal flavors of the BBQ.”
