Upminster’s Coffee Bloom Cafe is a favorite with Recorder readers

The Dictaphone runs a monthly contest for readers to name their favorite businesses in various categories throughout the year.

This month’s contest celebrates people who serve delicious food
breakfast, lunch, tea and coffee, and make a welcoming place to meet friends.

After public voting ended on May 10th, we can announce the winner is Coffee Bloom Café in Upminster.

Praised by diners for its breakfasts, coffee and friendly service, the cafe has received rave reviews for its poached eggs and also offers vegetarian and vegan options.

The team at St Mary’s Lane Café said in a statement: “We at Coffee Bloom Café would like to start by thanking all our customers for your nominations. We are truly grateful to all of you for your continued support over the years, not to mention our team of employees who work hard and support us every day.

“It’s a great honor to be chosen as a winner amongst some strong cafes in the Havering area.

“Winning this competition has given us the opportunity and confidence to further plan and invest in improving the experience of our customers.

“As many can tell, we have been through very difficult times with Covid-19 and the cost of living crisis, the hospitality sector in particular has been through some trials.
