Minnesota United are chasing Finn Teema Puki
Minnesota United FC are pursuing former Norwich City forward Teema Pookie, multiple media outlets reported on Saturday.
The 33-year-old Finnish forward could replace Luis Amarilla, who is reportedly moving to Liga MX club Mazatlán this summer.
The second MLS transfer window opens on July 5, although the two sides can agree terms before then. Puki is currently playing for Finland in Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Pookie played for Norwich City in the Premier League and EFL Championship from 2018 to 2023, scoring 88 goals and providing 29 assists and playing 210 games in England’s top two divisions.
Before moving to the Canaries, Puki played for Danish Brondby, Scottish Celtic, German Schalke 04, Finnish HIK and KTP, as well as Spanish Sevilla and Sevilla Atlético.
