Pink is shocked after a fan threw her mother’s ashes on stage at BST’s Hyde Park show

Pink weren’t quite sure how to react after a fan threw their mother’s ashes on stage at a recent London to show

The “So What” singer performed in the city as a duo BST Hyde Park concerts nearby Gwen Stefani.

During the concert, Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore, was showered with gifts, including flowers, soft toys and fan art.

However, one rather unexpected item also landed at the singer’s feet on Sunday (June 25) as she sang her hit ‘Just Like a Pill’ on the catwalk in front of the stage.

In a clip circulating on social media, Pink, 43, is seen holding up a plastic bag containing the gray powdery ashes of a fan’s cremated mother.

“Is that your mom?” Pink asked a man in the audience. When they seemingly confirmed it, the singer said: “I don’t know how I feel about it.”

The singer then returned to the main stage, adding: “I have to say it was a first.”

This weekend’s Hyde Park shows were part of the Pink Summer Carnival tour and saw the singer close the show by bobbing in mid-air, hovering over the crowd as she sang her 2008 hit ‘So What’.

Pink, who released her first solo album in 2000, did too performed live on stage with her 12-year-old daughter Willow. The pair performed a duet on “Cover Me in Sunshine,” which Pink released in 2021.

Willow, who Pink shares with husband Carey Hart, is performing with her mother throughout this tour. Pink and Hart also have another child together, Jameson, six.

However, the singer added that her daughter didn’t understand the concept of salary negotiations, recalling: “I said it’s about $22.50 per show depending on how long I go, when I ran over. She says, “I’ll take $20.” It’s easier to calculate.” I say, “This is not how you negotiate for yourself.” I say, “You’ll take $25, so the math is easier.”

In a recent interview, Pink said she was told her career would end when she had children.

“Everybody told me, ‘If you have kids now, your career is over,'” she said.

According to Pink, before she had children, people thought she was “angry, masculine, angry, feminine.”

However, according to her theory, this perception changed after she had children. “When I had a baby, I think it softened me to the world, to the part that didn’t understand me, and I think that’s when my career started,” the artist explained.

“I mean, I did a lot of things before that, but really, really, I think that’s when I really started to understand myself and understand the world and my place in it.”

Stefani opened for Pink at the BST Hyde Park gigs this weekend, the What You Waiting For singer’s first gig in the UK in 16 years.

Stefani, 53, also delighted the crowd when she brought rapper Eve on stage with her during her song ‘Rich Girl’. They then performed their track “Let Me Blow Your Mind” together.
