A man has been arrested after a fatal stabbing in North Harrow
Police were called yesterday (July 8) at around 6.25am to Pinner Road where a man was found with stab wounds.
London Ambulance Service and Ambulance Service attended the incident. Despite their efforts, the victim, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A crime scene was established and Pinner Road was closed in both directions while officers searched for evidence.
After the victim’s death, a homicide investigation was launched, helicopters were flying over the region in search of suspects.

A spokesman for the Met Police has now said a man aged in his 20s was arrested on Saturday afternoon in connection with the stabbing.
Pinner Road remains closed between Surrey Road and Station Road. Bus routes 183, H18 and H19 are still detoured.
North Harrow Library posted on Twitter that it was closed due to the incident.

Local MP Gareth Thomas expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased.

Investigations are ongoing to inform the relatives of the victim.
