INSTAGRAM restaurateur Salt Bae has slashed prices at his London restaurant after backlash over high prices.
Turk – famous for covering beef with gold leaf – sells steaks up to £1450 at his Nusr-Et Steakhouse.

Some accounts in Knightsbridge exceeded an absurd £37,000including a whopping £5,000 service charge.
Its extortionate prices – such as water at £9 and flower onions at £18 – the industry will generate £7m in its first year of trading in 2021.
But the cook – real name Nusret Gökçe – faced a flood of negative reviews, with angry customers calling it an “insult to humanity”.
The grill from the diners was left Salt Bae Restaurant one of the worst rated in London, coming in at 20,491 out of 23,811 restaurants in the capital.
But in an effort to turn things aroundthe chef has launched a set lunch menu for just £39 per person.
It includes a starter, main and dessert and is available on weekdays from 12pm to 5pm.
Diners can choose from a range of salads before moving on to a main course of grilled salmon, steaks or burgers and top it off with a scoop of ice cream or baklava.
Customers can also order a burger and fries for £45, while some starters such as tacos and steak tartare are on offer for around £35 per dish.
The restaurant also offers a new sushi range priced between £23 and £28 for four.
Nusr-Et is famous for its steaks, but it also serves a variety of other meat dishes.
Some of the restaurant’s specials include Golden Giant Striploin for £1,350, Golden Kafes for £500 and Golden Burger for £100.
Desserts, which include sorbet, ice cream and baklava, cost an average of £25.
