Racist stalker ‘left private hospital manager feeling afraid for her life’

A RACIST stalker left a private hospital manager feeling afraid for her life, a court has been told.

Danielle Moore, 34, began pestering Priyanka Gnanasekaram on Instagram, hounding her even after she was blocked.

Bartholemew O’Toole, prosecuting, said: “Moore began privately messaging Priyanka after first following her several years ago.

“The messages became inappropriate and somewhat bizarre. This made Ms Gnanasekaram feel uncomfortable.

“She decided to block Moore.”

Moore then created multiple new accounts and started messaging her again after she was blocked, jurors heard.

In one message Moore wrote: ‘I’ll be talking to Allah about what you’ve done. You’ve done wrong.’

Ms Gnanasekaram would reply saying she “didn’t know what she was referring to” and asking her to stop.

“She advised Moore that she would call the police if she carried on and the messages ceased,” said the prosecutor.

When Priyanka began work at the Mayo Clinic in London, Moore twice turned up and hurled racist abuse.

She was later spotted armed with two knives trying to enter the clinic.

Her Canadian-born victim told officers she was “terrified for her life” as Moore continued to call her from prison.

Moore, of Bermondsey, South East London, was convicted of stalking.

She admitted wounding and criminal damage in an unrelated incident and was jailed for 4½ years at Southwark crown court.

She was also handed two restraining orders prohibiting her from contacting Ms Begum and Ms Gnanasekaram for 10 years.
