Greencourt Road Orpington incident: Person taken to hospital

It happened in Greencourt Road just before 1pm today (September 11).

London Ambulance Service crews and an air ambulance were called to the scene.

An ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager also attended.

The person was treated at the scene before being taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.

The nature of the incident is currently unknown.

We have contacted Metropolitan Police for further information.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.56pm today (11 September) to reports of an incident on Greencourt Road, Orpington.

“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager.

“We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated a patient at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
