Staff at local pub the Grand Junction Arms said that the show’s production team cheekily asked them fro 10 per cent off all food and drink.

The pub is now prepping “special” menus for the show’s stars – who are expected to book it out for parties.

One barman with a side hustle in film production was even offered a gig on the show – and professional kit for his own work.

Assistant manager Gabriel Serer said: “At the moment we have been having more people at lunch time, we have been having quite a few Big Brother staff coming here.

“We heard it was happening here two or three weeks ago.

“Our boss made a deal with them as well – just come in here and we will give you a discount.

He added: “We hope it boosts the business up, I think my manager wants to try to do some events to bring people in as well, it’s an opportunity.

“It’s exciting, it’s not stressful at all, it’s always nice seeing different people.

“I think there is a few people who have come from outside of London, and they’ve never been here before.

“It’s probably going to be more when the programme is aired.”

Gabriel said the Big Brother crew even offered one of his colleagues work on the set – and gave him kit to film his own skateboarding video.

Barmaid Molly Milligan, 20, said: “We do have people from the studios coming in. Just not much as of yet, they only just started.

“They have sent an email trying to get a discount because there will be a lot of them, I don’t think it’s an issue it’s only 10 percent.”

Pub chef Fabiano Gomiled, 34, said: “They’re having a special menu for the function.

“We’ve got chicken wings, pork belly, beef burgers and vegan burgers for 10 people.

“But it’s easy to do that.”
