29-year-old man fatally stabbed near Abbey Road, north-west London | London
A 29-year-old man was stabbed to death in northwest London, police said.
The London Ambulance Service called officers to the scene at the Abbey Estate, off St John's Wood, just after 7.30pm on Friday.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was found injured and administered first aid at the scene. He was then taken to hospital but died later that evening.
A cordon is in place at the scene, off Abbey Road, as homicide detectives continue their enquiries.
No arrests have been made “at this early stage”, Scotland Yard said.
The families of the deceased have been informed, an examination will be conducted in the near future.
DCI Neil Rawlinson, who is leading the investigation, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of the Abbey Estate on Friday night between 7pm and 8pm who may have seen or heard something they believe , may be related to this. fatal stabbing.
“Another family is grieving the loss of a loved one to knife crime. My team of detectives is working around the clock to identify and apprehend the culprits.”
