A Colorado mother suspected of murdering her two children has appeared in court in London

A Colorado A mother suspected of killing her two young children and injuring a third appeared in court Monday Londonwhere she was detained over the weekend.

Kimberly Singler, 35, appeared in Westminster Magistrates' Court facing extradition to the United States on two counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder, three counts of child abuse and one count of assault.

Singler disappeared as Colorado police prepared to arrest her in the deaths of her 9-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son, who were found slain Dec. 19 during a reported burglary. Singler suffered minor injuries, and her injured 11-year-old daughter was hospitalized for several days before being released.

Singler was initially treated as a crime victim and cooperated with police. But officers couldn't find her when they went to arrest her on December 26.

The police caught her on Saturday in the village Kensington part of London.

According to court records, she had a long-running child custody dispute with her ex-husband.
