Alexandra Road Erith stabbing: Two people in hospital

The incident took place today (January 3) on Alexandra Road street a little before 13.10.

Crews from the London Ambulance Service and air ambulance were called to the scene.

Two ambulance crews and an advanced paramedic were also present.

The pair were treated at the scene before being taken to a major trauma centre.

Their condition is still unknown.

A spokesman for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 1.08pm today (January 3) to reports of a stabbing in Alexandra Road, Erith.

“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including two ambulance crews and an advanced paramedic.

“We have also dispatched a trauma team from London Ambulance Service.

“We treated two people at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre.”
