Protesters against Ulez gather in Trafalgar Square | News

The crowd is protesting Londonultra-low emission zone (Get in) gathered in Trafalgar Square on Saturday, Jan. 27, to protest the plan.

Demonstrators wearing yellow straitjackets gathered along the road near Nelson's Column in central London and urged motorists to “honk if you hate Ulez”.

Passing drivers were obliged to honk at the demonstrators.

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan from 29 August 2023 extended the area within the Northern and Southern Ring Roads to cover all areas of London.

Vehicles in Ulles that do not meet emissions standards are required to pay a daily charge of £12.50, with the latest figures showing around 60,000 car owners pay the daily charge.
