Met a policeman who was accused of multiple rapes, “tied a woman, put her in a car and threatened to “cut” her throat”

A police officer allegedly tied up a woman, locked her in his car and threatened to “cut” her throat, a court heard.

The 24-year-old also made a number of threats when she said she felt sick in his car, jurors were told.

Mitchell allegedly told her: “If you throw up in the car, I will cut your stomach open for every second you throw up.”

Mitchell is charged with six counts of raping the girl, including three counts when she was younger than 13.

Mitchell is also charged with seven counts of raping a woman between April 2020 and September 2023, violating a restraining order and two counts of kidnapping.

The court said that he served the police officer during the commission of some of the alleged crimes.

Another passerby, who approached both women as they waited for police to arrive, said he heard the alleged victim “crying.”

Ms Farrelly alleges that Mitchell sexually assaulted his first alleged victim from 2014 to 2017 and assaulted the second alleged victim from 2020 to 2023.

She added: “Despite their clear protests, he repeatedly imposed his sexual will on them both.”

Mitchell denies the allegations and says they were fabricated against him.
