Kebab Flight Night at Oklava | Eat & Drink

There’s nothing like cooking over charcoal and that’s exactly what Selin Kiazim is celebrating at Oklava this summer with a guest kebab series. It’s all kicking off with a Kebab Flight Night, a seven-course menu featuring kebabs from Anna Hansen (formerly of the Modern Pantry), Shuko Oda (from Koya), John Chantarasak (from AngloThai) and Phillip Juma (from Juma Kitchen). The menu will start with courgette, feta & mint fritters and end with mahlep ice cream, peach sorbet & pistachio nougatine, with these kebabs in the middle:

Shuko Oda | Trout, bitter leaves, kimizu yolk and pickled magnolia

Anna Hansen | Sugar cured prawn kebab, squid ink & coconut crepe, kohlrabi, endive and herbs

John Chantarasak | Southern Thai chicken thigh & offal, roasted coconut curry sauce, chicken fat & ghee flatbread, cucumber pickle, chicken skin and coconut crumb

Philip Juma | Lamb shawarma with a date & cardamom glaze on freshly baked tanoor bread

Surprise kebab from Selin

Tickets of the dinner cost £90 per person and you can get them here, and if you can’t make the Kebab Flight Night, the guest kebabs will be going onto Oklava’s menu for two weeks at a time over the summer.
