The woman was embarrassed when she had to open her lip tattoo during an appointment with a dentist.

Mackenzie from the United States said that at the age of 18 she had ink on the inside of her lower lip.

She thought it would only be temporary and erased … but it is not.

Now every time she visits the dentist, she thinks about harmful ink.

“The dentist thinks I’m bad,” Mackenzie wrote in a message to TikTok, pointing out that she takes a sip of a hot drink at home.

In the background is an audio that says, “Remember when we turned 18 and got tattoos on our lips because ‘they’ll be gone in a few months, a maximum of a year’?”

Mackenzie said she thought her lip tattoo would disappear within a year

She then purses her lower lip, revealing a six-letter tattoo that reads, “BITE ME.”

“[This] It will be eight years on Saturday, ”she added.

When the viewer asked if Mackenzie regretted getting a lip tattoo, she replied, “Not really! I have a lot of tattoos, so it doesn’t matter.

“If I didn’t have a lot of other tattoos, it might bother me. It’s a good place for tattoos with how hidden it is. ”

But eight years later the ink is still visible to her when she puffs up her lower lip
