Die-hard Swifties were left in a frenzy Ticketmaster UK for “keeping them in limbo” – a situation that continued after “updated ticketing procedures” were announced.

It ended up being a mixed bag, with some fans receiving no emails at all, while others received a “confusing” correspondence from AEG Presents detailing a delay in finding out if they could apply for the tickets they wanted.

After hours of waiting and updating their computers, some lucky people received the long-awaited email – with detailed but confusing new ticketing dates and a host of new rules.

It said: “A limited number of registrants will be able to gain access to the ticket sales and all others will be placed on a waiting list.

“Due to the demand for these shows and to ensure that as many fans as possible are able to access tickets, registrants will be selected at random to access the ticket sales.

“For the UK dates, ticket stock will be split equally between official ticket agents Ticketmaster and AXS.

“If selected, you will be randomly assigned a unique, non-transferable access code to Ticketmaster or AXS.”
